1. Introduction
This document explains how we charge for our legal services, what is included in our fees,
and what additional costs you may need to pay. We are committed to transparency and
compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Price and Transparency Rules.
All costs will be confirmed in writing before we begin work.
2. Our Charging Structure
We offer the following pricing structures depending on the type of matter:
- Fixed fees (agreed price for defined work)
- Hourly rates (based on time spent working on your case)
- Conditional Fee Agreements (“No Win, No Fee”) in eligible cases
All fees are subject to VAT at 20% unless stated otherwise.
3. Immigration Services Fees
Our immigration work is usually charged on a fixed fee basis or hourly rate.
Hourly Rate £255 per hour (Senior Solicitor) Typical Fixed Fees (excluding VAT)
- Naturalisation / Citizenship: £850
- EEA Applications: £900 + £300 per applicant
- Student / Work Visas: £900
- Visit Visas: £900
- Family Visas: £950
- Skilled Worker / PBS Applications: £2,000
- Family Reunion / Dependant Applications: £950
- Ancestry Visas: £950
- Long Residence / Complex Applications: £2,000
These fees are estimates and may vary depending on complexity.
4. What Our Immigration Fee Includes
Our service may include:
- Legal advice on Immigration Rules and eligibility
- Assessment of supporting documents
- Identifying missing evidence
- Assisting with obtaining further documents
- Preparing and submitting your application
- Advising on Home Office interviews
- Post-decision advice and next steps
The amount of work required depends on your individual circumstances.
5. Disbursements (Third Party Costs)
Disbursements are costs paid to third parties and are not included in our legal fees.
These may include:
- Home Office application fees
- Barrister (Counsel) fees
- Interpreter fees
- Translation costs
- Expert reports
- Tribunal or court fees
We may handle payment of disbursements on your behalf.
Some disbursements may include VAT depending on the provider.
6. Factors That May Affect Cost
Your final cost may vary depending on:
- Complexity of your case
- Amount of evidence required
- Previous visa refusals or immigration history
- Number of dependants included
- Need for translation or interpretation
- Urgency of your application
- Strength of eligibility under Immigration Rules
We will notify you before carrying out any additional chargeable work.
7. Timescales
We cannot guarantee Home Office processing times.
However, once we have all required documents, we usually prepare and submit applications
within 1–4 weeks, depending on complexity.
8. Conditional Fee Agreements (No Win, No Fee)
We offer Conditional Fee Agreements in selected cases, including:
- Medical Negligence
- Road Traffic Accidents
- Housing Disrepair
- Employer Liability
- Public Liability
- Occupiers’ Liability
- Industrial Disease
Under a Conditional Fee Agreement, you will only pay legal sucess fee if your case is
successful. Full terms will be explained before you sign any agreement.
9. General Litigation & Other Work
Where work is charged hourly, our fee grades are:
Grade A (8+ years PQE): £255/hr
Grade B (4+ years PQE): £228/hr
Grade C (Qualified Solicitors / CILEx): £196/hr
Grade D (Trainees / Paralegals): £185/hr
10. VAT
All fees are stated exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT is charged at 20% where
applicable.
